Introduction
Full-time Masters course in Management (Master of Business Administration-MBA). David Memorial Institute of Management is affiliated to Osmania University (OU) and is approved by AICTE. The management Course offered is as per the syllabus of Osmania University. The course comprises of four semesters with three electives – Finance, Human Resources and Marketing. Students will be given the syllabus copy during the first semester. Course approved by AICTE and affiliated to Osmania University.
Duration : 2 Years- 4 semesters
Intake : 120 students per year.
Award of Degree : The degree will be awarded by Osmania University after passing their Internal and external semester examinations.
Admission Process
The candidates seeking admission must have completed any undergraduate degree from recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate (45%for SC & ST). The admissions are through ICET conducted every year by the State government.
70 % of the seats are allotted to the meritorious students who clear ICET exam and balance 30% seats are reserved under management category to be offered to students based on merit as per undergraduate scores. Admissions under the management category are not eligible for Fee Reimbursement Scheme offered by the State Government.
Activities & Curriculum
The Institution is centrally located with bus and metro connectivity which is a big advantage for students and parents. Outstation students can avail the hostel facility which is situated close to college. The location provides a tranquil atmosphere without any external disturbances. The campus provides the right ambience for the students to concentrate on the course without any diversion.
Organizing weekly events on current topics students are made to be aware of topics which impact local and global markets, thus making them gain knowledge to have a holistic approach to any issues challenging the businesses. In turn they improve their decision making skills to hold leadership position in their future Endeavour’s.
Apart from the six days week lectures, the program is packed with events to attract students to classrooms. Students are made to participate in personality and communication and skill development. Class room presentations and live projects are encouraged to remove stage fear and inculcate leadership roles for their careers.

Dr Pawan has worked in consumer durable, machine tools and auto-component industries for over three decades both in public and private sectors. Has experience in sales and marketing, EXIM, indigenization, vendor development and production areas. Was associated with Japanese and British engineers’ from 1990-2004 for executing export orders received from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Pratt Burnard of UK. From 2009, is into teaching management subjects to students of OU / JNTUH affiliated engineering and MBA institutions in Hyderabad. Have interests in teaching marketing, SCM, TQM, Operations management, Technology forecasting, e-Business, Entrepreneurship, Business Intelligence subjects. Is a keen researcher and has presented 22 papers in national and International conferences some of which are trending on ResearchGate.com. He mentors students and also manages Training and Placement Cell. |

Rules & Regulation
- Every parent & student should respect the declaration, which he/she signs at the time of admission.
- Punctuality should be observed at all costs and adhere to the timings of the college. Anyone coming late will be fined.
- Students coming late for classes shall not enter the class without the permission of the teacher. No student will be allowed to leave the class without permission of the teacher.
- All students must be present on the last working day of college and also on the reopening day. Disciplinary action will be taken if a genuine reason along with proof is not submitted in support of the absence.
- Students are forbidden from loitering in the campus or haunt the canteen during the class hours. They should sit in the Library whenever they have no class.
- No notice or any intimation shall be put up by the students in the campus on the ‘Notice Board’. Students should refrain from writing on the walls of the school or scribbling on any notice displayed on the notice Board. They should co-operate in keeping the campus neat and clean.
- Students who willfully or otherwise damage school property will be severely dealt with.
- SMOKING and bringing CELL PHONES inside the school premises is prohibited. Anyone disregarding this rule will be restricted from entering.
- Students are not allowed to organize any meeting in the campus or to collect any money on behalf of school or any Society/Club.
- Any student who is persistently insubordinate and mischievous or willfully violates the rules of the school or is guilty of fraud or malpractice in connection with examination or who is the opinion of the principal is likely to be have unwholesome influence on his fellows students will be liable for suspension or dismissal from the college which will be decided according to the seriousness of the offence.
- Attendance of every student will be calculated every month. They must be regular to the school and if any student fails to put in the required attendance of 75% at the end of the year he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
- There is and will be no student union activities in the school. Any student involving in any such union activity will be expelled from the school. Students should follow the dress code as long as they are in the campus.
- Every student shall invariably bring their identity card daily and produce it on demand.
- There shall be no refund of fee once it is paid, irrespective of whether a student attends the school or not.
- There shall be no cancellation of admission in between the academic year.
- No T.C. Will be issued until the academic year is completed.
Introduction of Placements
DMIM has a training and placement cell which drives the skill development and
entrepreneurial skills of the students. A number of AICTE programmes are part of the
placement activities. Mentoring is taken up as a serious endeavor by allotting a separate
batch of students to each faculty. Apart from campus placements, students are encouraged to
attend interviews of reputed companies with proper training inputs. A number of students are
placed in India and abroad in world renowned companies and DMIM is proud to be having
